PTSO is an organization specially focused on supporting the Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) community. PTSO seeks to enhance the school atmosphere through volunteering or hosting family enrichment events and workshops. The organization also provides monetary support for student enrichment activities, department wish lists and Senior Scholarships. Additionally, we take the time to appreciate our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. We have two ongoing fundraisers and will be adding more.  Many of our events have dual purposes - they are family and student enrichment events and fundraisers. Some activities especially workshops are funded by these events as well as by membership dues, partnerships/sponsorships and donations.
